Further information: Candida albicans was grown in rich YPD medium, consisting of 1% bacto-yeast extract, 2% bacto-peptone and 2% dextrose.
The host strain Escherichia coli K12 MC1061 or DH5α can be used for electroporation to amplify the library. The transformation mixture can then be streaked on selective solid medium (LB-Lennox + 100 µg/ml ampicillin) and cultivated at 37°C to obtain the different library clones.
